Chief Executive Officer

The Chief Executive Officer to assume responsibility for leading and managing the day to day operations of this community based not-for-profit organization located in East Harlem.  Founded in 1988, SFDS has been a dynamic force for revitalization in East Harlem, with over 800 units of affordable housing for families and seniors developed and under management.  Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO provides strategic planning, management and oversight of all aspects of the operations and development of the 33 employee organization.  The CEO oversees all aspects of the organization's budgets and financial planning, personnel and employee management and the various regulatory requirements of the organization's affordable housing projects.  The CEO works extensively with City and State housing agencies, appointed and elected officials and member of the community.
